Who can submit articles? Registered Members only.
What type of articles can be submitted? All articles submitted must be directly related to the digital scrapbooking industry. There are two types of articles we accept.
- Articles posted in the "Industry News" category are posted for a limited amount of time and are for announcing news worthy events only.
- Informative articles on specific subject matters may be submitted to all other categories. Typically, these are how-to, instructive, or informational articles.
DSD-Pro Article Publication Guidelines Digi-Scrap Resource Directory aims to provide helpful resources to our visitors with relevent web links and high quality, original content. To ensure that your articles meet our criteria, please use the following guidelines when creating articles for publication in our Knowledge Base Article Library and in our News & Announcements Directory Listing
- All Articles must be original articles, written by the submitter.
- DO NOT include any affiliate program links.
- Submit your article to one category only. Multiple submissions of the same article will not only result in the article being removed but it can also lead to the author being suspended should we consider them to be abusing the system. Submit your article to only one category.
- Article Title: maximum of 100 characters and Minimum of 5 characters. (We recommend using up to 80 chars for best search engine results). DO NOT use only capital letters in your title.
- Article Summary: Every article must have an article summary. The purpose of the article summary is to give the reader a quick overview of your article. HTML tags are not allowed in the summary. Character counts: minimum 25, maximum 300
- Article Body: minimum of 100 charactors and a maximum length of 7,000 characters. The following HTML tags are allowed within the body of the article: <br />, <b>, <i>, <nbsp>,<img>,<a>,<font>. Attributes allowed: <href>,<src>,<align>,<color>, and <size>
- Hyperlinks: You may include up to 2 hyperlinks in an article 2 in your author info block.
- Author Information: Be sure to add an author bio at the bottom of your article. You may include up to 2 hyperlinks in your Author Bio.
- Article Keywords: You may add to your article info, relevant keywords separated by a comma. Non-relevant keywords will be removed. These keywords will help your article show up in search engines better. Maximum of 100 characters.
- Meta Description: You may add to your article info a short description that will be included in the meta tags. This description will help your article place well in search engines too. Maximum of 300 characters.
- Family Safe Content Only: We do not allow articles on porn, escort, sex toys, violence, illegal subject (such as movie downloads), or on any subjects not relevent to the digital scrapbooking industry.

Additional Info for "Industry News" Category
The Industry News category is a special directory we have set up to allow for news worthing announcements. Postings here are displayed for a limited time only. Typically they are online for 2-3 weeks or until the page information is no longer valid. To be included in this directory you must use the article submission form - not the link submission form.
In your announcement, you may have a total of two graphics and up to 2 links. Use the 'anchor' and 'image' HTML tags to insert these into our announcement.
Only announcements that pertain to digital scrapbook happenings will be approved. Because every request is personally reviewed for consideration it may take up to 5 business days before your request is approved and posted. Please plan your announcements accordingly.
Types of announcements that are allowed:
- New product and website launches
- Sales and Special event information
- Announcements about new staff members, creative team members, etc.
Announcements not allowed:
- Info about new blog posts (ex: "I posted an article about.... go check it out....")
- Info about things you are not hosting yourself (ex: "I read about the.... over at..... go check it out...")
- Repeat announcements about the same event
